“Heroes didn't leap tall buildings or stop bullets with an outstretched hand; they didn't wear boots and capes. Their superpowers were as simple as listening, or loving. Heroes were ordinary people who knew that even if their own lives were impossibly knotted, they could untangle someone else's.” - Jodi Picoult
On behalf of the ELF staff and supporters, we invite you to unite with us as
superheros against this villainous devistation. Special thanks to Noah Selling,
a supporter and long time friend of ELF, for all his efforts in keeping us united!!
Please open your heart for NY, we need a lot of help. Our hearts go out to all those affected by this historic disaster. Before this catastrophe occurred I was constantly speaking to random people, as that is my favorite pastime. Now, people just want to speak to everyone. Sharing stories, updates and just being there to listen to someone who has it worse off than you. People are coming together and the camaraderie is beautiful. Everyone wants to help, from taking in refugees for showers and power to donating money and supplies. With all the help we are doing for ourselves internally, the support from around the country is what brings a tear to my eye. It really changes your point of view from donating to people far and wide to hoping people donate to the local disaster relief. Please Please open your heart for NY and make a donation by clicking
